Here are a few of Our Favourite Walks
-
Little Petherick Creek
A lovely walk you can do straight from Glebe Cottage. On one side of the Creek, walk along the Saint's Way long distance path. And on the other side, beware of High Tide as the path is likely to flood. You can do as a circular walk, or walk into Padstow and get the bus home !
-
Padstow to Harbour Cove
Easy 3 mile walk starting at Padstow harbour, through Padstow and along the Camel Estuary. Past lots of coves including St Georges, Harbour Cove and then across the fields to Prideaux Place.
-
Stepper Point and The Doom Bar
This walk has panoramic views from the Pepper Pot - taking in the Camel Estuary, Doom Bar, harbour Cove, Butterhole Beach, and windswept rugged cliffs. You can pop in for a cream tea at the Rest A While tea garden. Please keep dogs on a lead on the clifftop.
-
Trevose Headland Circular
A circular walk around the rugged coastline of Trevose Head via the iconic lighthouse and golden sandy bays of Constantine, Booby's, Mother Ivey's and Harlyn.
-
Harlyn to Trevone
From Harlyn Bay it is a gentle walk along low cliffs to Trevone. Both beaches have car parks and cafes. Watch out for the Tidal Pool along the route - it's lovely place for a swim!
-
Bedruthan Steps to Porthcothan
You can do this walk as a circular route, or you can combine with a bus trip along the coast. You can also add in the walk to Mawgan Porth if you want a longer route. The scenery is simply stunning!
